"Your first encounter cards" --- should not be used in the main game as they have no level indicator.
Isn't that exactly the opposite then what is written Page 7 Paragraph IV
IV) Prepare the Encounter cards. Take all Encounters and sort them by color into four piles. Each pile should contain 31 cards, including a special Encounter marked as “Your First Encounter”. ou will use these piles to Build your ncounter decks in step IX.
